Now in its eighth edition, TEHR is an International Festival that talks about human rights through the arts and aims to support initiatives in support of human rights. It takes place in various locations in the city of Rome and is connected to the most important European Festivals on rights.

Through the Rete del Caffe Sospeso, a mutual aid network aimed at giving voice to the violation of rights, with which it is connected, the TEHR window is always open, but in the month of December of each year it is concentrated in the city of Rome in a set of events linked to a single theme. TEHR, enjoys the patronage of the University Roma Tre, UNINT University, Fondazione Teatro Palladium, Agenzia Giornalistica Aska News, Nuovo Cinema Aquila, Stati Generali delle donne, others…

The next TEHR events include a series of meetings with the Iranian writer Mehrdad Hassani in Italy thanks to the suspended coffee network, to learn about his story and his fight for women's freedom.

Series of Events / Meetings aimed at stimulating reflections to develop awareness and enhance the spirituality of others, through meetings and conversations with the greatest exponents of Italian and international culture, debating the key themes of contemporary society, conceived with the Cultural Office of the Vicariate of Rome, takes place in various places in the city of Rome and disseminated in streaming ( www.vaticannews.va )


The first meeting took place at the Galleria dei Miracoli - via del Corso, Rome on January 31, 2024, Title of the meeting "The Just War?" Speakers: journalist Marco da Milano and the theologian Prof. Giuseppe Lorizio, director of the Cultural Office of the Vicariate of Rome.

 

The second event, entitled "Cultural Hegemony?" took place on April 9, 2024 at the Dante Alighieri Society in Rome, with speaker the philosopher, journalist and writer Marcello Veneziani.

Thematic review Rosa Marche - III edition (in planning)

The cultural initiative Rosa Marche is a thematic review that aims to enhance the beauty and cultural aspect of the Marche region, to disseminate and animate, through theater, conversations and meetings, the feminine of history, tradition and culture and also of today's society, to thus also be a warning to strengthen the role of women, animate historical figures and enhance the places through what wants to become a recognizable cultural brand and for this source of attraction and economy for the territory.


The title, Rosa Marche, is intended to evoke a special feminine in a special place.

The festival includes theatre, conversations, round tables and screenings.

Rosa Marche has attracted considerable interest in the two previous editions, held in Porto San Giorgio with the world premiere presentation of the theatrical piece dedicated to a great Lady from the Marche region of history Battista Sforza, (the Lady who knew how to govern the unknown. world premiere on stage at the Teatro Comunale di San Giorgio (Fermo) and another at the Teatro Comunale di Montegranaro, with the screening of Le parole di Rabia, starring Rabia Balki, a medieval Persian poet, who stimulated reflections on the condition of women. School children also participated in the events.

Rainbows of the Soul (in progress)

Event dedicated to art therapy with young people in difficulty as protagonists, who will create free works of art by telling their stories. The experience, in addition to being a live event, will become a documentary film that will capture the entire experience.
